This pass is good for 4 Kawleeya Fusion Drills classes over the course of 5 weeks. This is a 40-minute, online session. We’ll warm up, then move through drills that pertain to different aspects of Iraqi Kawleeya fusion dance. Topics we’ll move through may be: hacha'a as dance/rhythm/poetry, rob3 & chobi rhythm; other rhythms as I become more adept at leading them; Kawleeya fusion basic steps, intermediate steps, floorwork, shimmy, hair/head movements, bezugh motions. Additional dances of Iraq as I become more adept at leading them. We’ll also work through some strengthening exercises to support the challenging work we’ll be doing.
